I've known Isaac since the beginning of medical school and I have been able to watch the character of his being. Who he is as a person reflects who he is as a tutor, full of passion for what he does, filled with integrity and humble with the knowledge he carries.

After failing Step 1 on my first attempt I decided to change my approach. 4 weeks out from my 2nd attempt at Step 1 I reached out to Isaac for tutoring. During those 4 weeks, we met 3 times a week and I left feeling empowered to conquer this exam and eager to learn ways to approach concepts.

It's so easy to find a tutor, but it's hard to find a GOOD ONE. Isaac is just that.

I started tutoring with medix back in late 2023. I initially had a 179 on my nbme comprehensive for step 2ck and on the real exam for step 2ck I was able to secure a 226...

Isaac, who is the tutor, helped me realize exactly where my faults were and which specific weaknesses I had. Isaac also helped me clear out concepts I did not understand. Whether it was physiology or pathology related.

I also want to note that majority of the work is done by the individual student. Isaac will not help you miraculously pass, but he will guide you towards a successful path. It is up to the individual to aim how high they want to score.

Our tutoring sessions lasted anywhere from 1-3 hours long and was about 3 days a week. I highly recommend taking the 12 week course with him if you are just starting off. If you have a strong foundation 4-8 weeks should suffice.

I would like to also mention that Isaac allows you to personally message him about any questions, and he responds at his earliest convenience. Not once has he ever charged for messaging him.

At the end, Isaac really does whatever he can do best for his students, he teaches, gives questions, and makes sure that you understand before moving on. I can definitely say that if I did not have Isaac helping me, I would not be near to where I am now.

Lastly, I have also matched into family medicine, even as a late applicant!
